I truly love OC Integrative Health, Dr. Olsen and Stephanie. They are a wonderful, knowledgeable, kind and empathetic team and I have genuinely enjoyed every visit I’ve had there. I am 25 and have Lyme disease, Hashimoto’s, toxic mold exposure and plenty of other fun things, and am about a year into my journey at OC Integrative Health. Dr. Olsen knew what tests to have me take and was able to diagnose me, figure out the root causes of my various issues, and create treatment plans to help my body dig out of where it’s been for a long time. Healing has been slow and not linear (as real healing should be, in my opinion) and I have continued taking steps toward better and more whole health thanks to the different approaches and tools Dr. Olsen uses. I have learned so much about my body and what it needs from me, improved my energy and mental health, lost some weight and look forward to continuing in my journey with this healthcare team. I highly recommend OC Integrative Health if you are looking for a complete and comprehensive wellness program. Dr. Olsen takes so much time and care listening to me and my health concerns, daily challenges, as well as really taking an interest in the changes and progress I am making. He has helped me with complete testing for hormones, gut health, toxic load, food sensitivities as well as blood sugar, insulin resistance and cholesterol. He then designed a complete metabolic detox and supplement regime. He also helped me make changes to my diet once we pinpointed the foods that were causing my digestive issues. This has made a huge difference in my energy level and has almost completely removed the aches and pains from inflammation. I am also working on lowering my cortisol and overall stress level using different therapies to help me get better sleep and learn new methods of stress management.

It looks crazy, but the results are even more “out of this world.” But I didn’t hesitate to try it – I was suffering from an ongoing headache that didn’t stop for over a year and a half. More than 21 months of a non-stop headache and no one could help me figure out how to stop the pain. I’ve probably seen a dozen or more doctors and all of them said the same thing: alternate between Tylenol and Advil. But I don’t like taking pills that I don’t have to take. The difference with OC Integrative Health is, they didn’t look to treat the pain, they looked to cure the pain! AND THEY DID. After my first session I had relief the next day. A few days later I drove back (5 hours, round trip) for a follow up treatment. I’ve had more days without a headache in two weeks than I have in 21 months. I just finished my third visit and I think we’re done. That’s the other great thing about this doctor, he doesn’t drag out his treatments if he doesn’t have to. Two years ago , I injured my sciatic nerve to the extreme that I could not even feel my leg for a month at least and after a month the pain was 24/7 to the extent that no pain killers worked.(no matter what kind or strength ). I have been in severe back pain for the past four years. I have tried chiropractic care, Thai massage, Chinese massage, Physiotherapy treatments…. You name it and I have tried i! Dr Olsen worked with me after my cancer surgery, I was very weak and dependent on pain medications. He started me off on the EMPF bed which help recharge weak cells, that bed did wonders for me & after he was able to do a read on my body thru muscle resistance, in which your body will tell him what’s wrong, so that he can adjust you only where you body needs it, he’s not a regular Chiropractor he is a holistic Healer & an advanced Chiropractor. Several years ago he found my liver was not functioning well. He sent me to my doctor to have tests run. The test results were not good. My doctor “If I didn’t know you so well I would think you were an alcoholic. She wanted to put me on prescription meds that could have long term negative effects on me. Dr. Olsen is the Best!!! I have been to many Chiropractors in my life and he is so much more than just a Chiropractor. I have been seeing him now for six months. I originally went to see Dr. Olsen after being rear ended on the freeway and although I have had chiropractic care in the past, I was characteristically against it. As such, whenever I have experienced injuries, pain or discomfort I’ve only sought Massage Therapy and Acupuncture.
However, after my accident I was experiencing pain from my neck down to my lower back and in my abdomen. To describe, I felt like my bones had been jolted into a very odd position which made moving them properly very difficult, I could barely move my head to the left or to the right which made driving very scary especially on the freeway and the pain in my abdomen was causing me to have and abnormal appetite (loss of hunger/food unappealing)

Yet, after having seen Dr. Olsen for only three visits I was already feeling 85% better. After one month the full range of motion in my neck recovered, my appetite was back to normal and I literally felt like a million bucks! (better than before I was rear ended and this is not an understatement). I realize that everyone’s recovery time and body response will be different and vary but such a quick response for me was unbelievable.

Most importantly, what makes Dr. Olsen such a phenomenal doctor ranges far beyond his ability to crack your bones into place. He is highly knowledgeable in many different areas of the body, how it functions, its different responses to different things and has extensive knowledge on the Thyroid gland. Furthermore, as a person who specifically has a thyroid disease and who has had many injuries and or health problems in the past, I was embarrassed to find how little I knew or understood in terms of my body structure/alignment and how it affects the Thyroid gland, nerves and receptors that feed information from my body to my brain.

It is my personal opinion that the being rear-ended on the freeway was a blessing in disguise and I would highly recommend Dr. Olsen to anyone. I would even go as far as to say He is worth traveling to from LA County.

Dr. Olsen has been wonderful to work with. I started seeing him about 4 months ago. I had a gallstone attack and my regular doctor and the gastroenterologist I was referred to weren’t interested in anything other than removing my gallbladder – they didn’t want to find out why it was happening or explore other treatments. I was referred to Dr. Olsen by a friend/co-worker after he and his wife had seen good results. Dr. Olsen’s approach made much more sense for my situation. He checked my whole body (not just my gallbladder as the other docs had). We figured out that I had leaky gut and particles/toxins were filtering through my blood to my brain and liver causing several problems. My adrenals and thyroid were also under-performing and my body was struggling to maintain normal blood sugar levels. All of that explained my exhaustion, foggy brain, anxiety attacks, and generally not feeling like myself. Dr. Olsen started me out not eating sugar, wheat, and anything else that metabolized quickly into sugar (starches, etc.) I pretty quickly saw improvements with my blood sugar and energy levels. Dr. Olsen also very carefully recommended supplements and those have varied as I’ve been making progress. We’ve been through a round of cleansing to flush out toxins in my body. My brain fog is all gone now. I generally have much more energy. I still have stress from work but the anxiety is mostly gone. We’re still working on clearing up my liver that seems to be working through some inflammation but I’m confident it’s only a matter of time before that’s solved too. Dr. Olsen is great to work with and is very approachable.This route of treatment isn’t exactly typical so I want to understand how and why it’s all working. Dr. Olsen takes the time answer all of my many questions during appointments and even after. Tara, in the office, is also wonderful. She’s such a happy, positive person and always has a smile to share with whoever walks in. She’s also helpful in figuring out billing and insurance questions.

I’ve seen a few chiropractors prior to him and they focus on the classic popping and turning you loose technique.

After dealing with a pinch nerve in my neck and shoulder for a month, I decided to do something about it. I mentioned my discomfort to my neighbor and she suggested that I go see Dr. Olsen.

I called Dr. Olsen’s office and was able to make an appointment for later that day. After reviewing my initial x-ray that determined that my neck was straight and that I had bone spurs on two of my cervical vertebrae, Dr. Olsen established a plan to correct my neck/spine alignment and reduce the pain and discomfort that I was experiencing.

At my first appointment, Dr. Olsen took the time to listen to my symptoms, answer my questions, and begin evaluating my body’s response to movement. Once he senses a weakness in my movement, he pinpoints the exact area to treat and goes to work.

I have been going to Dr. Olsen for the last six weeks and feel that I am on the road to recovery as my pain and discomfort are getting better each day.

I have been through a lot of chiropractors in the last few years and Doctor Olsen has been extremely great. Since my first adjustment a month ago, I’ve felt better and better. I can’t be more happy. Tara is great and makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. Waiting time is quick plus if it’ll be while you can always get a massage there while you wait. Tea and water is offered and he also sells these delicious bar treats for only $2.

Dr Olsen is a wonderful Doctor who cares for the whole person. I started with him … many years ago and he brought me from feeling like I was 80 years old to being 30 years young. He peeled the onion of my physical and emotional woes with adjustments, functional therapy, supplementation etc. while still dancing and teaching ballet. After going regularly to 2 different chiropractors that were on my insurance plan and not really noticing anything get better, I decided to bite the bullet and go outside of my plan. I’m very glad I did. Dr. Olson does much more than “crack your back” and send you on your way. I have only been going a couple of months, but in combination with the numerous therapies available and his work on specific areas, I have begun to notice a change in the range of motion in my neck. We are also working on getting some of the curve back into it. I’m excited to see how much I can improve.

Dr.Olsen is a true healer. He is knowledgeable in so many different fields and he customizes each visit to you as a patient. I don’t feel like I would be half the person I am today without him. He saved my mental health as well as my physical health and he really treats the body holistically. He never interferes with personal views nor does he ever preach unwanted information. Dr. Olsen is my family practitioner. My son sees him for Sports medical issues. My husband sees him for his sport issues as well as overall well being and we all know that we have been blessed to have him in our life. Working with Dr. Olsen has been life-changing for me. He is very knowledgeable, kind and patient.
Terra, in the front office is very professional and works well with the clients.

I made the mistake of self-diagnosing symptoms. I altered my diet and took
many supplements, but was missing crucial information. I did not know the proper
supplements to take, in what dosage, and for how long. I also did not eliminate
all the offending foods from my diet.

With the proper knowledge from various tests, Dr. Olsen is treating my whole body, and it is healing itself. I am on the proper supplements, and have changed my diet. Plus i get Chiropractic treatments for compression in my neck, and go on his many neck treatment machines. They feel great.

My neck is now staying in place and i am pain free. Many times i would wake up with a headache and my neck would be out. I went through many pillows thinking they were the problem, and when my old chiropractor would put my neck in, it would go back out the next day. I just thought that is the way it was.

I am dealing with an auto-immune disorder, and I feel the inflammation in my body is gone. I am sleeping through the night, and the connective tissue issues are resolving.

I truly can not say enough about how i am being helped back to health.
